What is microblading and how it is done?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique where a tiny blade composed by very fine needles is used to deposit pigment into the surface of the skin, in order to create natural looking hair-like strokes. This procedure is done manually using sterile and disposable tools and microblading pigment that is matching your natural eyebrow color. It is intended to fill in patchy eyebrows and make it look more defined, or to create eyebrows entirely in the case of a complete hair loss. The result achieved is very subtle, giving the face a whole new dimension.
The microblading pigment is bladed below the epidermis and the upper part of the reticular dermis of the skin , making very crisp, hair-like strokes following the natural hair growth direction. A touch up is required 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment.
In order to successfully perform microblading the skin should not be damaged or be in regenerating process from any skin disease, procedure or other issues. Final result of this method is creating microbladed hair strokes flow that follows the direction of the natural hairs, fully blending in with the natural eyebrows, giving extremely realistic and subtle finish. The aim of Phibrows microblading technique is to achieve such a natural effect that nobody would be able to tell that you have done any semi-permanent treatment.
In microblading the shape of eyebrows is measured according to the morphology of the face using the Golden Ratio Technique, also known as the Golden Rule which helps us design the perfect shape that compliments all facial features considering the facial proportions and symmetry. It is done while eyes are closed as this way the mimetic muscles that can affect the eyebrows symmetry are relaxed.
Immediately after the treatment is done, the pigment will appear very sharp and darker. This happens because it is still positioned on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely. As time is passing the color will gradually get lighter, starting to perfectly match your natural tone. Aftercare plays a crucial part of the healed result, so it is required to properly follow the instructed aftercare routine. Depending on the skin type and care, the results can last between 1-3 years, preferably with touch ups in order to remain the color fresh. Microblading is a treatment done by professionals only fully trained to perform this procedure, with deep knowledge of skin care and structure.
